For screen creations and editing, I still use WebSphere Code and Visual Age RPG for iSeries version 6.0 - Code Designer. (yes, I got it to run on Window 11 Pro)
I find it much easier to use than the RDi Eclipse screen editor. (I do use Eclipse for RPG/CL code editing)
I will miss SDA.

I’m not worried about me accessing SDA. I have my ways :-)
This is more about deprecating things from the OS that don’t really need to go away for any particular reason.
Might as well just throw out all 5250 development then :-)

Being on the cloud now and using SDA for a lot of applications, my best bet is to keep my Power 8 for anything related to SDA.
I wonder if you could get a virtual loaner (VLP) from time to time from IBM @ V7R5 or lower just to do a little SDA work now and then. Of course, the first step would be finding if they still do VLP, and then finding the site as they like to change endpoints every 2 weeks.
