Hi, David,

Thanks for responding.
Unfortunately I am ignorant about all those things you ask in your four points.
Does using SNDSMTPEMM provide for those things?

I'm using SMTPSendMail (on OS v5) and the SNDSMTPEMM command (on OS
v7) to send emails with attachments from within a RPGLE program.

Reviewing the joblog indicates the emails are sent successfully (email
server engages and responds with expected messages). But emails never
arrive. This used to work a few years ago.
I've tried sending to several different domains, including personal,
business, and gmail accounts.

Thomas:

There are a few things to check ...

1, Are the emails being signed with DKIM or DomainKey signatures?
2. Do you have DMARC policies published in your DNS?
3. Do you have RDNS records for the sending system?
4. Are you sending using plain SMTP or secure SMTP / SMTP with TLS?

These days, most mail providers do not allow mail from unauthenticated sources.

They also require RDNS for sending systems and do not allow mail from consumer IP addresses.
