You emails are very useful. I now did a comparison of the two in chatgpt and can speak more correctly.

Thank you for the information AND the links for multiple group profiles and usage.

So, I hear you say that yes, Groups can be used on the AS400 (albeit can be messy). That one is AUTL lists and the other is a user profile of type USRCLS(*GROUP) and then there are supplemental groups!

I understand them better now and will do research on the info you provided. THANK YOU!
