Another reason to use ODBC. IBMi Access ODBC works in .Net Core all the way up to .Net 9.0.

Important to note that the .NET driver is for the .Net Framework...

Assuming they are using .NET Core, the IBM .NET Provider NuGet packages do require a license ($$$) for Db2 Connect.
