Secure connection uses SSH, at least for some things. Can you directly SSH
into that partition?

subject: RDI Question

Hello all,

I have version 9.8 of RDI installed. I get a weird behavior when I try to
use it on one of our 3 partitions. For some reason it works fine on the
other two, but one gives us this problem. I can create a connection but if
I try to then go into the properties of the connection and actually
connect, I get the following error:

"An error occurred while trying to connect securely to <system name
here>. Check if you have a connection to the host. If the connection is
not broken, check that the SSL authority is set up, that TCP/IP is
configured correctly on the local machine and all host servers are started
on <system name here>.

Java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index out of range: -1"

This only happens on this particular partition. I didn't have to do
anything special to get it to connect to our other partitions and work
completely normally. I did run a STRTCPSVR(*ALL) on this partition just to
make sure that wasn't it. Any thoughts? Thanks as always.

Bill
