Hi Greg,

I would suggest you take a look at the configuration of your ACS SQL session and 5250 SQL session. Things like naming conventions and so on might make a difference. I once experienced some very peculiar differences caused by the type of activation group inv olved (single level storage versus teraspace).

There's of course also the Plan Cache that may uncover differences between the execution in 5250 and ACS.

I just observed the oddest thing... I have several SQL statements that aren't terribly complex. However, they would not finish in ACS (would not show any results and ran for almost an hour).

If I copy the same SQL statements into the green screen STRSQL, they show results within seconds.

I ended the QZDASONIT jobs after canceling the action in ACS. I also restarted the ACS Run SQL scripts application.

Anyone ever encounter this?
