Yes. I just extracted the ACS ZIP to a read-only NetServer directory, and
then added a HOD file. On each PC, copy the HOD file to the PC and make a
desktop shortcut. Right-click on the HOD file, do an Open With and point
to the EXE in the NetServer directory.

For updates, I just replace the JAR file, which can be done while users are
connected. Replacing the EXE has to be done after hours, but that's almost
never necessary.

This works great on a LAN. If you have remote sites with cheap internet,
startup time is slow.

I may have asked this before, but have any of you done a shared central
install of ACS before ?

Also without installing Java JRE locally ?

I have ideas on how I would do this, but if someone else has paved the way
your thoughts would be appreciated.
