No need to stop Journaling first..
Delete the LIB1 and LIB2 Libraries First.
Then Delete the JRN1 and JRN2 Libraries
You will get a message for unsaved Journal receivers, but you can answer
with an I (Ignore).
Save all Your Libraries. JRN1 JRN2, LIB1, LIB2 in this order
Restore your libraries.. Since they were saved in the proper order, they
will restore in the proper order.
Journaling will automatically start with the option STRJRN(*YES)
If authority is important, be sure to save authorities during the save.

I need to refresh a couple of libraries on a different lpar.
There are 4 libs
LIB1
JRN1
LIB2
JRN2
As the naming suggests the physical files in LIB1 are journaled to JRN in JRN1 and LIB2 to JRN2
My thought was to ENDJRNPF for LIB1/*ALLLIB for both of the data LIBs
Then clear all the libraries to be restored
Then restore the libraries and let journaling start after the restore with STRJRN(*YES)
Is that the correct/best way to achieve this or is there a better option.
There is no BRMS and I don't need a package to do this - the refresh happens quite rarely and I am just trying to do it properly.
Thanks for any advice.
