I need to refresh a couple of libraries on a different lpar.

There are 4 libs
LIB1
JRN1
LIB2
JRN2

As the naming suggests the physical files in LIB1 are journaled to JRN in JRN1 and LIB2 to JRN2

My thought was to ENDJRNPF for LIB1/*ALLLIB for both of the data LIBs

Then clear all the libraries to be restored

Then restore the libraries and let journaling start after the restore with STRJRN(*YES)

Is that the correct/best way to achieve this or is there a better option.

There is no BRMS and I don't need a package to do this - the refresh happens quite rarely and I am just trying to do it properly.

Thanks for any advice.
