That’s a DASD controller in the system unit. With WRKDSKSTS is it showing “degraded”?

I’ll bet the battery is beyond its date so it’s calling out the card. Might be an easy fix to replace the battery.

Otherwise the card needs to be replaced. It’s working because there are dual cards there.
