Look up how to get the IP address on the ASMI. Basically you need to put it into manual mode, then use option 30 to get to the IP addresses. 3001 will be one port 3002 will be the second port. (These instructions not quite complete since from memory)

Google it and you’ll find the instructions in the first panel.

reading leads me to believe that option 30 is only valid if your system is
in "Standby" mode. Not something I really want to try remotely.

Had a crazy thought that perhaps the address for VCP might be the same as
that for ASMI but a feeble attempt failed. I suppose if one had multiple
LPARs using Lan Console that would be difficult though.
