Re: Windows update trashes ACS

I had the problem recently. Win 11 does some stuff differently. I just went
ahead and reinstalled the latest version.

I found installing the PUBLIB or all users options is a problem as the
public folders are now controlled by MS and they restrict access to these
folders.I eventually broke down and had to install it in the
personal folders and had no problems or authority issues after that.

windows 11. When I upgraded years ago and even during a fresh install,
Microsoft automatically puts your desktop, document, pictures, etc. in a
OneDrive folder so they are automatically backed up...and then you run out
of cloud space and have to buy more space to get the annoying messages to
stop. I can also tell you that getting these directories back into their
pre-windows 11 location in the c:\users\... directory is a royal pain.
