Queries do not rely on straight indexes, so no query will fail if you get rid of the index. However, performance might suffer.
The first thing I found was in the Access Client Solutions menu: Schema -> Indexes -> Work With ->SQL Plan Cache Statements section of Access Client Solution's GUI. There may be an SQL service or view that shows plan cache statements, but I usually just use the GUI. This will show you some of the stuff using it.

Subject: db2 sql index - which queries use it
CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
So I need to decommission an index from a table if possible.. but before I do, I'd like to know what applications/queries (if any) rely on it?
So before I go look at all the table dependencies and consider which applications may use the index...
Is there a better way?
thanks
Jay
