First off any administrator should have a direct way of signing on to IBM i without any interference if needed. Use the Kerberos 99% of the time but signing on to the console gets into the 1% where that’s a really bad idea. Been there done that will clients who insist on it. Broke lot’s of things.

Generating spreadsheets can be done by so many other tools that I don’t see IBM spending any real time on it.
