The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Your point is well-taken. I've always used the separate source file names as, I believe, was recommended by IBM - at least, from when I started, it was presented as normal.
Others have done differently. Name collisions could happen, it doesn't here, as we use generally a postfix like C or R historically. SCM products might promote one or the other approach, so far (over the last few decades here) there hasn't been an issue that is still around.
Pay your money, take your choice, right? SCM and version control all help with this stuff, too.
Cheers

Vern,
No, no one else mentioned searches. I was just talking about a possible
conflict if you use both QCLSRC and QCLLESRC and happen to have the same
program name in both.
This is why some people do not break their source files apart by language.
