Yes, that was the solution. I was still searching for it but you were quicker. :-)

And JDFTVAL provides something like a left outer join. Relative file numbers seem similar to aliases we use in SQL JOINs, and like the T1, T2, etc., that we use in Query for i.

Yes, I've also observed one can build quite complex LFs for preselecting records, unloading the main work to the database engine below. The best thing is: The performance is incredible, compared to SQL, on my 150. :-)
