sftp doesn't care about passive and binary is assumed.
Sftp is not FTP and thus does not even *know* about "passive", nor
anything else than binary transparent transfer. "ASCII mode" has never been
implemented in SFTP, which is apparently due to the fact that the
implementors had no exposure to EBCDIC systems, nor were they seeing that
even the two overall most common operating systems Windows and Linux use
different line endings.
