So need to perform some function (pgm), when an db2 table column input
takes place.
At first thought a table trigger (that only processes that column) sounds
fine.
But then maybe a field procedure that sits on the column itself.
I've only used field procedures for encryption and while I think they may
work also fine for like a column level trigger... is that a good idea?
I really don't like the idea of not being able to use sql though.
any other possibilities?
