And Index can only be generated over a single table.
The query optimizer can even use multiple indexes on the same table within the same SQL Statement.
If the query includes a join the optimizer may decide an index for each of these joined tables

Vern, an Index table is an Index over a specific table. I would like to add a join to the Index table. Can this be done? I do not want a view—as a view is just a temporary path.
