Hi, you can contact me directly and can help you out with questions.

415 means you submitted a request with content type that is not support by the web service.

Ensure when you deploy a POST or PUT web service, that content-type of the request is supported by the web service. And if you specified a requests the is JSON, the Allowed Input Media types must be set to *JSON or *XML, *JSON.

On the other hand, if this is a GET request you are failing on, when you deploy the API, the Allowed Input Media types is set to *ALL. Anything else will fail since GET requests do not have a content type.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] The remote server returned an error: (415) Unsupported Media Type.
Does anyone have any ideas what "The remote server returned an error:
(415) Unsupported Media Type." means? Or where to look? I'm getting
this on my local IWS server, using JSON...

Also, has ANYONE gotten the JSON/REST server demo in IBM's Part 3:
Building a REST service with integrated web services server for IBM i to
work in any part? I'm not having any success getting it off the ground
and all IBM wants to say is "we'll sell you a services contract..." to
get their demo working.....
