If you want to look at it before the program removes it, you can use the
*SAME value for the "Message Action" parameter of the Receive Program
Message API.

I am trying to debug a program or rather a process that is triggered by a
message being received in the MSGQ. The program loops waiting for messages
and then kicks into action when a message is received.
My problem is that the message is read and automagically removed from the
message queue.
I need to go back to the messages to see what the message was.
MSGQ's are not journaled like files, DTAQ, etc. so I have to find another
way.
Any suggestions?
