Yes, pricing is set to drive folks out of old equipment into the cloud.
The best going out of business strategy IBM has come up with in some
time. Go from 1000s of support agreements to 100s.

Subscription pricing looks like it’s adjusted to reflect all the “included
software “ and SWMA plus a bit of an increase but not as bad as old
hardware support.
