Thanks Jack and Patrik,

I'll look into Glenn's suggestions and see how much work those commands
are. As I said, I'm only thinking of this for adhoc file transfer to
transfer a file for testing purposes.

You can use scp or sftp but to me this seems a waste of CPU cycles for
needless encryption.
