For the technically minded guys...
We have recently added 2 64Tb NVMe "drives" to an eight 64Tb-NVMe
9105-41B machine.
While configuring the new NVMes the IBM CE said that it is now
recommended to "split"
each NVMe into 400Gb Namespaces.
(they are now configured as 64TB Namespace each)
This will get us 80 "virtual drives" and in turn should get us a
performance gain.
Now, IBM CEs do not come cheap so I would like to have some rough idea what
performance gain to expect.
Can you sages try to estimate?
TIA
