With a Power 8, how do you support your 7.5 customers?
If the 3 year pattern keeps up I suspect IBM i rNext will be out early
2025. How would you support that?
If the upgrade pattern keeps up Power 9 isn't likely to support rNext.
I'm an early kind of guy. The fact that a vendor can support 7.2 is not a
good thing to me. I take that as a red flag that they're not likely to
support the versions that I run.
Who writes more checks? Customers who stay current with the OS, or those
whose OS is out of support?
