why is it multipart for a simple email? Is there an attachment or is it
sending text and html versions or something?

Pretty simple text. At least it looks that way in DSPFrender
starts out with
Sender: coworker@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Date: Fri, 05 Jan 2024 10:40:34 -0500
From: Systems <coworker@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
MIME-Version: 1.0
To: Craig Strong <coworker@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Subject: redacted Remittance for 01/01/2024
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="--PART.BOUNDARY.1"
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
----PART.BOUNDARY.1

Do you get the same result sending to other email recipients (or
yourself)? Sometimes it's hard to predict how email clients will

I have a body of a message which looks something like this:that
...
Payment Total: $AAA,BBB.CC+$AAA,BBB.CC = $D,AAA,BBB.CC
Target Total: $D,AAA,BBB.CC
...
I look at DSPF of the stream file created and F10=Display Hex and see
both lines end with 0D0A. The recipient is receiving
Payment Total: $AAA,BBB.CC+$AAA,BBB.CC = $D,AAA,BBB.CC Target Total:
$D,AAA,BBB.CC
Basically the 0D0A is being replaced by a space.
