Jim Sloan would disagree with you. Previously, IBM shipped much of his code
in the QUSRTOOL library. One had to spend a lot of time creating useful
tools from that code.
When Jim acquired the rights to the code, he came out with TAATOOL, which he
had smartly rolled the code into quick and easy commands.
Frequently, it's more economical to buy than build.
