If the date/time/timestamp fields are *NOT* defined in the RPG program
and a record is added, it will automatically contain the current
date/time value instead of the *Loval values. The way to do that is to
create a LF or view that does not contain those fields, but only
contains the original fields, without the date/time fields. The easiest
way to accomplish this with an existing application (IMHO) is to rename
the original PF to a new name and name the new LF/view the original
name. That way, no application changes are required.
