- Run FTP connection (with error "530 User cannot log in)

- TRCTCPAPP APP(*FTP) SET(*OFF)

If I understand fine, you receive 530 error when running a *client* ftp connection, right?

TRCTCPAPP command looks to apply to server applications, so not to your issue.

But i don't see any spool log .. how could get some log to understand the
problem ?

I would run a communication trace with TRCCNN or STR(END|PRTCMNTRC). I prefer running a communication trace because you can narrow the content to a specific remote IP address.
Then, once you reproduced the error, you can dump the trace to an IFS file which has the PCAP format. Using WireShark, you can easily import this file and analyse the ftp exchange. You will see the user profile and the password in clear text as it looks like you do not use encryption.
