Hello Rob,

Someone I know in the industry asked me this about his V10 HMC:

After we were done with the OS install ... it rebooted to the GUI. Ctrl-Alt-F3 switched the browser view to a command line view. Do you know how to switch it back to the browser view?

Thats an old Linux feat. :-)

From a running Xserver, you can access virtual text consoles:
- when switching from a running Xserver (GUI) with Alt-Ctrl-Fx (x usually being in the range 1..6)
- when switching between text consoles with just Alt-Fx,
- when switching back *to* the Xserver (which uses the next free console) usually with just Alt-Fx.

The Xserver thus often runs on console 7 (Alt-F7 to switch back). You're free to try other Alt-Fx keys to see it's somewhere else.

:wq! PoC
