Mouse extensions for 5250 data stream are very poorly documented, very spottily implemented, and most of what's even supported for DDS-generated display files isn't supported in SDA. I honestly don't recall whether there's anything to set up a mouseover event as an AID, and without an AID (and the accompanying response to an outstanding Read MDA Fields or Read Input Fields), everything you do is local.
