Subject: Trying to check if IFS object exists
I posted to the RPG list about a problem with Scott K.'s IFSDIR function.
I'm trying to see if a file name exists in my IFS but I want to use a
wildcard.
I decided to try and use this SQL but the path_name returns *POINTER. Do I
need to cast the result or something? V7R3
SELECT PATH_NAME
FROM TABLE(QSYS2.IFS_OBJECT_STATISTICS('/tmp' ,'YES'))
