When STRSQL was invited we did not have: create table xxx as select * from
yyy with data;

I really don’t find a use case for routing output to a new database table
with the tools we have today.

Does anyone know if Run SQL Scripts window has the same feature? We were
looking to have the results of a SQL statement be sent to an Outfile this
way, instead of adding an Insert into before the Select. From what I am
told the select is quite large.

Are there any more details you can provide about what you are looking
to achieve?

Does prepending INSERT INTO do exactly what you want it to, and you
really are just looking for a way to type less?
