FWIW I searched IBM for porting applications to AIX and it was pretty
barren.
Did get a nice hit on an IBM tool to see if your AIX application would work
in pase in IBM i.

An update note:

Looked for an AS400 emulator that could be run under AIX to support my
AS400
application. No such "beast" appears to exist.

Considering setting a small iSeries box, running OS400, on the floor next
to
the AIX box. The 2 would be connected via a dedicated wire or the site's
network. We'd load my application on the AS400 box and do all our data
extraction and process there.

Any thoughts?
