This indicated the index (access path) rebuild in progress during an IPL - typically after a crash or during a large restore as the good Dr. describes.

On my 150, I've seen QDBSRVxx and QDBSRVXRx running even after a restore itself has finished. The modern 3F10, I think. ;-)
