Re: IBM I 720 - no access mystery

The new IPL should have told you that the system went down abruptly in the
IPL log. Once, a power supply failure, without notice, made the system run
down with the aid of the battery that those systems used to have just to
give time to shut down safely, but of course, abruptly. The next IPL
worked, but then the service engineer found out the power supply had to be
replaced.
Strange that you could not find anything like that, for instance.
