I rather like *PND for QLOGOUTPUT. I think sending them to a spool file
is archaic.

An IPL would not clear pending joblogs any more than an IPL would clear an
output queue full of spooled joblogs.

GO CLEANUP cleans both spooled joblogs and pending joblogs the same.

Glad the issue generating them all was found.

Pending job logs are not in an output queue. We can use use WRKJOBLOG

JOBLOGSTT(*PENDING) command to review them.

I just learned that there were some changes in job handling after V4R5
(which is what I use):
- Possibility to detach finished jobs from spooled output, this keeping
the job table small,
- Pending state of job logs.
