Honestly though, what would they be used for? I cannot remember the
last time I used an physical optical drive on a Power System. Certainly
NEVER on a Power10. Never on a POWER9. Never on a POWER8. Maybe on a
POWER7, but I can't think of why, just seem to remember sticking a disk
in one. Hmmm.
You can't put VIOS on one. Pointless to put IBM i on one. If I need
local medis it's USB all day.
