In iACS you can pull up System Configurations. I have at least one created for each lpar.
The far right tab is called Hardware Management Interface. Not exactly sure what that is.
But I clicked on it. I notice you can have multiple types in here. If you add one by using the drop down then it will start appearing on the left panel. For example I dropped down "Hardware Management Console (HMC)" and added myhmc.mycorp.com. That now appears on the left and I can click on that and get straight to the HMC. I also dropped down "Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI)" and added the name for that. That works. The others will allow you to add stuff like getting straight to the url for Digital Certificate Manager. What are these:
Hardware Management Interface
Copy Services Manager for i
DS HMC
And what popular ones have you used?
I'm thinking about adding our two VTL's under Tape Management 1 & 2. Done. Works good.
Just leave off the http:// and/or https:// stuff. It will figure that out.
