Hello James,

Anybody here remember the "alphabet soup" status line, from WSF, RUMBA, and other early 5250 emulators?

Not each of them but I get the general idea.

Anybody remember what the indicators were? Particularly the one for insert mode?

AFAIK a caret. The same as with 34xx InfoWindow terminals.

(To be fair, I spent roughly the past two decades trying to *forget* RUMBA.)

:-)

If anybody has the Rumba *Server* part for 1990's Apple Macintosh, I'm highly interested! I already got the client (for AppleTalk) on eBay, but no server so far. Rumba for the Mac might have been evolved from Apple's SNA•ps through company mergers.

:wq! PoC
