You can check avoid duplicate workstation names and it will fix that for
you when you connect.

I think that if an award were to be given out for the most
counterintuitive phrasing of a menu item, that would have to be the
all-time winner.

(For the record, in the emulator nearest and dearest to my heart, that
function is a toolbar icon of two terminals, one in front of the other,
with a tooltip of "open another session.")
