RE: Bruce Vining

Bruce was one of those rare individuals of whom you could always trust his answers. He had no barriers with languages, or the tech you had available for a problem. He just loved to help and was more than capable of delivering that help. He was truly a genius.

Beyond the technical, he was warm, personable, and always had a smile. A wise person I knew once said, "Some people when you meet them, you can just sense their goodness." Bruce was one of those. He will be missed by the IBM i community and the world as a whole. The world has plenty of problems. Bruce's passing is heartrending.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
