Hi Ake

It's hard to know what to suggest as there is not a lot of information.
What reference information have you used to set up your shares ?
How did you actually create them ?
What is the error messages that your users get when they try to connect ?
What is the actual folder structure you are using ?
Does the user have access to the containing folder ?
How are you trying to connect to the folder - are you typing in a string in
the Run box or ... ?
Are there any messages on the IBM i in the history log or QSYSOPR at the
same time that might help ?
Are the users with the problem local or remote ?
Are there any restrictions on SMB level perhaps enforced at a network level?
What client i.e. version of windows are they using ?

I have tried the command RSTNETUSR that was suggested in the article on a
user profile I created for this purpose.

It did not work.

There are three user profiles that work for shared folders:
QSECOFR
My personal profile
And one user in the finance department who uses a folder to upload external
invoices.

After RSTNETUSR did not work I created a copy of my personal profile under
another name and tried with that.

Again no luck.

I even tried to make a copy of QSECOFR under a new name.

Again no luck.

Bewildered!
