I have tried to make it easier for users to keep important documents on the
IBM server.

What I have done is:

* I have created the folder on the IFS with authorities set
* Using the web-based navigator I have then created and named the
different file shares and set the authorities for the file share to allow
access for that user.

As an example I have a user ?Daniel? with IBM userid ?DANIEL? and in the IFS
folder authorities user ?DANIEL? has all boxes ticked (except ?Exclude?
obviously.

The same authority setting shows in the navigator with settings for the file
share.

The problem is that when I try to link to the file share in Windows (both
version 10 and 11) My userid can connect to the file share whereas ?Daniel?
cannot.

I have tried to compare the user profiles and found no differences that
reasonably could cause the problem.

What on earth am I missing?
