Hi All,
I am trying to learn as much as I can about VTL with cloud backup and remote journaling.
Right now we just have a tape drive (Ultrium5) and want something better.
If we put in a VTL and contract with someone to replicate that the cloud, that takes care of our existing situation.
I would also like to use remote journaling to save our critical data throughout the day. This would also be with an outside vendor.
We are not looking for a hot site per say or have our own duplicate server.
What about the IFS? How can I make sure the IFS is backed up/replicated throughout the day?
Is there anything else I am not understanding?
