RE: Email sending problem

James,
Do all of your devices connect to gmail directly or do some of them relay through another server?
We do not have all of devices go to our external provider directly. Many, especially printer/scanners capable of emailing scanned documents, relay through a SMTP server here which then routes through our external provider. I do have to put the devices on the internal smtp server's list of devices allowed to relay through.
This may help in your situation.
Our IBM i goes through a service which checks for nasties etc and then routes it through to exchange.
