Per IBM support:
" There should be no issues with that. There are enhancements to NetServer
in 7.4 and 7.5 but nothing that would limit older clients from successfully
using the NetServer. "

It does bear checking into. QNTC is a client. NetServer is the server.

I did discover a Windows 7 pc here. Used to get to some obsolete
equipment that we're looking to replace.
It can read shares and open files on a couple of our 7.5 machines.
