About 6 years ago I had an opportunity to write and sell a menu system
along
with several other "consulting projects" that required me to have my own
machine. After a lot of debating, I broke down and spent $20K+ for a new
Power 720 Express so I would have a number of years of OS upgradability.
Assuming this line in the article is correct "The subscription bundle
includes all hardware, software and services...", I would have gladly
jumped
at this option for $600 a year. Instead, I paid the equivalent of a 40+
year lease for a machine that is maxed out at V7.3. :(
I might just have to look into what this lease really includes and maybe
sell my machine while it still has some value.
