That sounds like a programming issue, not an SMTP issue. Possibly using
timestamps for filenames or something like that instead of unique IDs.

We have replace our printed report system with a system that converts
reports to PDF and emails the PDF to the user.

We are sending thousands of these PDFs per day.

Is there a way for our IBM I SMTP server to manage the flow of these
outbound emails so that we don't overwhelm our company outbound mail
server?
