The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

If you are interested in a Menu System that won't break the bank let me

Subject: Determining when a Menu was Last Used
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
We are on V7R3.
The system I work on uses the regular IBM *MENUs system [i.e. STRSDA +
option #2] to give users access to the various functions they need.
I am trying to identify Menus that are no longer used.
Each menu has three object types associated with it: *MSGF, *FILE, and
*MENU.
For some menus, all three of the objects have the same Last Used Date.
However, for others, the *MSGF seems to have a Last Used Date while the
other two have blanks for the Last Used Date. Do all three have to have
the same Last Used Date in order for me to know the true Last Used Date?
If one or two objects [i.e. *FILE or *MENU] have no Last Used Date, and
the *MSGF does have a Last Used Date, does that mean the menu has never
been used? How can I tell if a menu does not get used and can be deleted?
Thank you,
Doug
